If Bill Gates had made his own hardware and insisted Windows only run on that, he might have avoided the BSOD, but then, he probably would have been crucified by the department of justice. Remember what fun we had when Apple allowed 3rd party hardware? Good times...

I used Carbon Copy to back up my Snow Leopard installation prior to installing Lion, but found that I couldn't boot into it until I installed Eastbeast with the backup copy as the target. Is this to be expected, or should the CC backup boot without this?

I just LOVE how everyone in Mac-land is enjoying the fascinating and innovative new feature in Mac OS X 10.7 - FULL SCREEN APPS. Wow! What will Steve Jobs think of next? The guy is a real future thinking machine. Wait...come to think of it, I may have seen full screen apps somewhere before. Oh...

This model has the Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit Controller for wired, and possibly the Dell Wireless 1490 Dual Band WLAN Mini-Card for wireless (depends on the configuration). I'm interested in setting one up as well so I'd be interested to know how it goes for you.
