You need to disable Speedsteping in BIOS, or else it's stuck on 3GHz.

I was considering M.2 drives but in my country it was out of stock everywhere (the Samsung SM951 250GB). Also the disk performance in RAID 0 with two SSDs is really good. ;)

You are having a kernel panic, I would redo the install USB to make sure that it's all ok. Also check if your BIOS is properly configured.

For audio I used latest VoodooHDA from Multibeast. It's the only way it works, sound quality is great and it's really reliable. There is some static noise that can be fixed by turning 'Input Gain' all the way down in VoodooHDA preferences.

I followed that guide from letter to letter. Make sure you do the same, don't make anything different, that's the only sure way. Install all 4 kexts to /System/Library/Extensions and /Extra/Extensions after you created the UniBeast drive. Also make sure you repair the disk permissions before...

What bootloader are you using? For the installation I could only get Chimera working. Also you will need the proper kext rollbacks and make sure your kernel is properly patched. Download the 'Older Install.zip' from the first post of rbbunmc's guide...

Yes, the 6 core CPUs all work on El Capitan, only the 5960x is not compatible. I don't think there is a significant downside of the 6 cores, but it really depends on your workflow. When I was building my computer there were no successful builds with the WS board and I didn't wanted to take...

It's not plugged in… I searched a lot in the BIOS and there is no option to disable it.

    5960x - Titan X - 2x Samsung 4k - Asus X99-E WS - Clover - EFI - SM951

My specs are: Intel i7 5960x, Asus X99 Deluxe, Gainward GTX 970, Samsung EVO Pro 250GB SSD. The motherboard IS actually USB 3.1, but through a bundled PCI-E add-in card and has no USB 3.1 ports onboard, therefore there is nothing to disable.
