I bought a 4k oled as my main display and ever since I have issues getting HDMI signal after sleep. If I unplug/replug the HDMI cable I get signal, but otherwise the tv says no signal.
Any suggestions? I'm still on Catalina btw.
It works via USB, but I need it to work via Thunderbolt. Also this was a fresh test system on which I installed the drivers. I can't use it via AVB cause I have a second MOTU connected via AVB to the first one as an expander.
I can't test it directly because I don't own a TB3-Ethernet dongle.
That pci137a,8@0 is my MOTU, because when I switched thunderbolt ports (and had to reboot) it was under DSB4@4 as seen below:
And this is what it looks like when I boot in to Catalina:
Driver is installed and extension is not blocked...
Hi Casey,
It works fine in Catalina (even hot swappable through the Apple TB2->TB3 dongle), and has worked fine in all OS'es leading up to Catalina. Big Sur messed things up and didn't work for me, and neither does Monterey.
I just tried enabling AppleVTD according to these instructions...
Hi Casey,
I know this is an rather old reply ;) I decided to skip Big Sur and try my luck with Monterey.
I did a clean install of Monterey 12.1 with OC 0.7.6, installed the latest MOTU drivers for my MOTU 16A (drivers are supported for Monterey) but I still have the same issue as I had in the...
I wonder if anyone else is already so far, since the drivers were only released yesterday.
Could you elaborate a bit on the risks involved flashing the firmware?
Can it be undone? Or could I also brick it for good?
@CaseySJ I updated this post and it’s attachments.
The "boot once" didn't work.
the PCI137a,8 is my motu interface, it says there's no drivers installed, but they are installed. As can be seen in the screenshot. I also allowed the system extension to load in the security and privacy window.
I...
I came from Clover 10.15.7, and, since MOTU finally released their Big Sur drivers yesterday, I decided to start fresh.
BIOS: F9i (unmod'ed)
OC: 0.6.8
OS: 11.2.3
EFI: the latest 068 from @CaseySJ
config.plist: generated using https://hackindrom.zapto.org/
Now the system works fine so far...
I removed my serials from the config.plist, that must be it I think.
But I'm one step further right now, did a clean install and installed nothing from the usb tab in multibeast. Then I sequentially tried to install the options below:
no usb kexts
perfect shutdown, no error on boot, front usb...
@P1LGRIM I was hoping you could help me out.
I have this build: (config.plist attached)
GA-Z77X-D3H | i5 3570 | GTX 970 running 10.13.6, which works fine.
But every time I shut down the computer, it automatically reboots and displays "You computer was restarted because of a problem" (The...
