The only trouble I have is front USB3 acting as USB2 and iMessage is not working atm. However those are usually non-essential and if that's the case for you too I strongly recommend upgrading. It makes the system a lot faster, and the dual screen thing is WAY nicer than ML.

sorry to revive an old post, but i'm wondering if the same can be said about the Q77M-D2H board's front USB3 port? The board only has one F_USB30 connection. The port does work in windows but not on the mac. The onboard usb3 ports in the rear works. Thanks.

Also each time we run multibeast we are supposed to check every box that we need right? At some point I think I have the impression that I don't have to and I think I messed things up.

It was indeed the 5.4.0 freezing things up. I ended up reinstalling the whole thing and used multibeast 5.3.something instead.

tried loading BIOS optimal setting then: 1, disable VT-d 2, Change bios boot setting from IDE to AHCI 3, Change xHCI from smart auto to auto 4, Enable both handsoff settings under peripheral 5, everything else stay the same. Reboot verbose and now it get pass the panic point, but shows error...

Single user mode: freeze. Freeze is literally just that. The whole computer just freezes. Mouse / key no use and the computer screen stays there.
