On my GA-Z77-d3h rev 1.1 removing manually: GenericUSBXHCI or CalDigit kext (if you find any) from SLE. Then reinstalling ComboUpdate 10.8.5 USB3 works partially, but any more at 5Gb/seg transfer rate like on 10.8.4, only 480Mb/seg Testing with External HDD WD My Passport USB3

I have 1866 Mhz modules 1.5v but 1600Mhz will be ok too, but be aware of GA-Z77-DS3H, no way to adjust Vcore manually on this mobo, you only get very limited O.C. touching frequency multipliers only. Better go for a GA-Z77-UD3H on the same budget
