I figured out that my Blade advance 18 model crashes when no HDMI is connected. Just in Windows and Linux, but it's quit annoying not being able to use all the operating systems on the move. Did anybody experience the same? Is it maybe Bios related, I have the 1.07 installed. Edit: BIOS upgrade...

Have the same question. ...and found the answer. I think Hardware UUID gets generated from SmUUID and Serial Number. At least when I put thous two wallues back to the old ones I got my previous Hardware UUID back.

Happened to me already the third time, super enjoying. Goggling hot booting gave me warm boot aka restart as answer. So you say as long as I don't restart my windows but always shut down I should not have this problem? Or are there any other fixes I can do?

Thank you so much!!!! Now it runs again. By the way, the support gave me the BIOS 1.0.7 upgrade in order to fix the trackpad and cam in windows. The trackpad got fixed, the cam still doesn't work. Now I even don't need the Trackpad patch as well in my Hackingtosh. Good news so fare. The bad part...

Hi, could you be more specific? I guess you are talking about BIOS 1.07. What you mean by dumped, you deleted the origin folder from the EFI drive? And did you re-patch anything else then the DSDT file?

A day later, Sierra is up and running. In order to get it installed, I had to type ntpdate -u time.apple.com in the terminal BEFORE installing. Im very happy to get that far. Now my question is, can I update the offered updates in the App Store?
