Managed to follow the stuff in that post, many thanks. Got it all working now, only thing is it takes a while to start working again after sleep. Does the connecting animation and in Network Prefs it says no IP, then after a minute ish it connects fine. Any ideas?

I'm having a bit of trouble getting a BCM94352Z I've installed into the laptop. Looked at the Airport PCIe Half Mini v2 stuff but just a little lost on what to do. (A step by step would be helpful :P) Think its the BCM94352 5 GHz/BT Handoff (10.10 - all versions) that I should be following...

Ah right, attached my config. I also remember reading something about OS X serials and using iMessage? Something about they need to be unique and not used or can get you banned or something?

Is there anything I can do in Yosemite to fix this or a work around? Currently I have to restart the computer after it goes to sleep or I close the lid :(

Ah cool, I'll keep that in mind cheers. Noticing now that on wake from sleep USB devices don't work at all until I restart, then they work straight away, any ideas?

That's done the trick, many thanks. As for the wireless card, is that one I linked ok? When you took the little rubber feet off the bottom to get to the screws, did they stick back on ok or?
