aaaaand, that worked. I wonder if there is some hardware signing or install setup that only happens on install for some hardware. I made almost no changes to software / configuration post install. I suppose long story, short a reinstall did the trick.....

So the plot thickens. I know people have seen the card I am using work. So I decided to add a mojave boot to my machine for the hell of it. (Currently running Catalina 10.15.4) Got Mojave installed, booted, and the bluetooth worked right out of the gate!!! Sooooo I guess this is a Catalina...

Hmmm, I am not sure I completely agree. When using air pods on a native mac the micro quality drops to 16 kHz, where as for my hackintosh it drops to 8 kHz. Which obviously noticeably worse. So i suppose I agree the quality drop is expected, but it is far worse then normal. I would kill...

Ok, I did apply a custom USBPorts.kext file and still no dice. :( I suppose on the plus side i am now running with the limits of the 15 ports which is good. Any thoughts on where to go from here? I am happy to provide more info, logs, and dig in other places.

So for me is suppose it is slightly different then... As I DO see the card show up is usb devices, but the bluetooth area is blank and the bluetooth icon says "Not Available".
