    Z77-DS3H with I7 3770 Hardtimes

Allrighty. It is painful to read about so many people having trouble with this board. I have the same board and i7-3770 CPU, and GA 6870 graphics. And I also had problems with a clean install. It failed after Multibeast. Here is how I got it working. First, I took out my 6870 graphics...

    still no usb 3 speeds

I have the GA-Z77-DS3H and i7-2600k. 10.7.4 + BH 5.0, and I ran some tests. The drive is a WD My Passport 1T, and it shows up in xbench as WD My Passport 0730. Speeds were about 60% faster than USB 2. I think that's typical for an older 2.5 inch portable drive. A Seagate GoFlex 1.5T portable...

    BridgeHelper 5.0 and sandybridge?

What about those of us who have the GA-Z77-DS3H and i7-2600K? I.e. 7-series mobo, but Sandy Bridge CPU? It'd be nice to have USB3 support, and any other extras in performance or smoothness that come from any chipset kexts. Will BH 5.0 harm anything? Maybe I'll try this on my spare partition...

    GA-Z77-DS3H Sleep Issue

I have the same mobo with Sandy Bridge, and no problems with sleep. I think your sleep issues will go away once Apple comes out with Ivy support, and we have access to an OS X update that includes such.

    GA-Z77-DS3H, 2600k, Sleep failure code 0x00000000 0x19006700

Thank you, sir, that was the problem. I just deleted NullCPUPowerManagement.kext, and did not install SpeedStepper. I confirmed that speed stepping is still taking place. The computer now sleeps and wakes. Zsolt

    GA-Z77-DS3H, 2600k, Sleep failure code 0x00000000 0x19006700

Hi, After I gave up on the HD3000, I got a GA HD6870. A fresh install of 10.7.3, and only checking Easybeast and the Atheros kext in Multibeast 4.4.0, I tried out sleep. The computer did turn off the screen, but all fans stayed on. Did not wake on keyboard press. Had to shut down by holding the...

    Step-by-Step(Gigabyte Z77-DS3H)

I think the method I found only works if EasyBeast and UserDSDT are NOT checked. Something gets installed, even if not using a DSDT, that messes with QE. I need to experiment with this. I need a stable system, sound, and QE in that order. Sleep/wake would be a very welcome bonus, but I think...

Huge News! Gigabyte UEFI Sleep/Wake with NO DSDT! [TESTING]

Than you Axsnetworks for the clear instructions. Once I performed the steps, and without rebooting, I immediately got audio working. Then after reboot the audio did not work anymore. I'm gonna start with a clean install and try this again. Zsolt

Huge News! Gigabyte UEFI Sleep/Wake with NO DSDT! [TESTING]

Launchpad animation was laggy before, I did not get the Dashboard ripple, there were tearing artifacts when dragging windows, VLC quit when trying to play videos. The AppleIntelHD3000 kext (don't remember the name exactly) was not loaded by the system. After the command line procedure and a...

    Step-by-Step(Gigabyte Z77-DS3H)

Try this. I did not go through a 10.7.3 upgrade, so I had a different process than you, but this worked for me to enable QE on the same hardware. http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?p=63924&sid=8ad01ee2b9a2830c245620342bc8b8ac#p63924 Good luck! Zsolt

Huge News! Gigabyte UEFI Sleep/Wake with NO DSDT! [TESTING]

Yes. I had no QE until I did the command line fix: http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?p=63924&sid=8ad01ee2b9a2830c245620342bc8b8ac#p63924 So now QE works. I also have Mac Mini selected in MultiBeast, and GE=Yes. F3 bios. But I have no audio, and when I tried to use the kext in this...

    GA-Z77-DS3H + i7-2600K, 10.7.3, can't get QE with HD3000

Thanks for your help. It was 5,1 and I just changed GE to No. Now I only get 64 MB VRAM, and only 1024 x 768 resolution. Also, System Information says in the Graphics area: Device ID 0x0122, no kext loaded. So I gotta figure out the device ID. It was correct before, so I gotta try and set it...
