Just got and installed my Apple WiFi/Bluetooth card. WiFi works great, Bluetooth not available.

I ordered this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/261969365523 Unfortunately it doesn't list a lot of features, but it's specified as being Broadcom BCM94331CD 802.11a/b/g WiFi card + Bluetooth 4.0 for Apple A1418 A1419.

Just got and installed my Apple WiFi/Bluetooth card. WiFi works great, Bluetooth not available.

Hi, Has anyone had a similar problem? I was using a USB Bluetooth dongle which worked okay (sometimes trackpad disconnects). Today I installed the new BCM94360CD/BCM94331CD card, pulled the BT dongle, and restarted. Now I have the "unavailable" bluetooth icon and the only way to get bluetooth...

Video card recommendation -- reasonable price good value

Thanks. Any recommendations? Is it the case that the higher the number the better the card? What is the most popular of those options? Thanks!

Video card recommendation -- reasonable price good value

Hi everyone I currently have a very old nvidia card and it has served me well for general use, but x-plane 11 really couldn't be played with it. I'd like to buy a new one but would like to keep it reasonable in price, good performance but doesn't have to be the newest or best, and would like to...

Audio fails when using external microphone

Hi, I just built a new Sierra machine and everything works so far, other than audio issues. Audio works fine until I use a microphone (I've tried the one built into my Logitech webcam and an external Samson USB mic, same problem for both). For example, I tried a google hangouts call...

No Audio Devices - Realtek ALC AppleHDA [Guide]

Hi, Please tell me if this is the wrong place to post this. I just built a new Sierra machine and everything works so far -- but I'm having audio issues. It works fine until I use the microphone (for example, a voice call over google hangouts). Everything works as it should for about 30...

Sierra install worked great UNTIL time machine restore. Now stops at "System uptime in nanoseconds:"

So far, so good. Looks like I've had success, for the most part. Some issues migrating data but it starts and the applications are all there. Thanks for the help on this!

Sierra install worked great UNTIL time machine restore. Now stops at "System uptime in nanoseconds:"

This caused a reboot loop to occur. I was able to get back in by selecting nv_disable=1. Then, I ran Multibeast again and added "inject nvidia" and also Sandy Bridge Core i5/i7 Overclocked. Now it starts up fine and I'm in the process of using Migration Assistant -- this is where it failed last...

Sierra install worked great UNTIL time machine restore. Now stops at "System uptime in nanoseconds:"

I have gotten the USB stick to allow me to boot and I decided to go ahead and start over. I formatted the SSD, loaded Sierra again, and am going to record my Multibeast settings here: Quickstart -> Legacy Boot Mode Drivers -> Audio -> Realtek ALCxxx -> ALC887/888b Drivers -> Misc -> FakeSMC...

Sierra install worked great UNTIL time machine restore. Now stops at "System uptime in nanoseconds:"

Thanks. I will check my settings. I don't think I changed them since I was successful, but at this point it seems that's the only thing that could be stopping me. I've updated my mobo in my profile.

Sierra install worked great UNTIL time machine restore. Now stops at "System uptime in nanoseconds:"

Hi, Thanks! I'm trying to do this now but can't seem to boot again, even with my USB stick. I tried re-building the USB stick but I can't get past the same place, even when choosing USB in BIOS and then selecting Boot Mac OS X from USB. What is blocking it from booting, if I'm trying to boot off...

Sierra install worked great UNTIL time machine restore. Now stops at "System uptime in nanoseconds:"

I should also say that the time machine backup was made from 10.8.1, mountain lion. I wonder if I am allowed to restore this to Sierra. I always thought it would only restore the files in the home folder. I did allow it to restore "other files", however.

Sierra install worked great UNTIL time machine restore. Now stops at "System uptime in nanoseconds:"

I was so excited that I finally got this to work. Before I went to bed I started a time machine restore, entire user, and woke up to a frozen progress bar. Restarting with -v revealed it hangs at "System uptime in nanoseconds: 949132400". Do I have to start over?

Thunderbolt ports needed on motherboard, or does it use USB-C ports?

Hi, I'm looking at the Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 TH -- but do I really care if it has Thunderbolt? I'm confused about Thunderbolt because I'm reading that it uses USB-C ports. Does that mean that this board really going to provide different ports? Or do I need it period if I want to use Thunderbolt...
