NVM it's just slow. It's just the server issue I reckon because my internet is not that bad. The app crawls slowly in activity monitor. I get to install after about an hour of wait.
Is it possible to download the whole file from Appstore like old time? Why is this time different like this?
Run the 19MB stub installer (/Applications/Install macOS High Sierra).
Choose the install disk and click ‘install’ (it won’t actually install yet!).
The issue is I can't do this. It says "click continue" but clicking continue doesn't do anything. I can't get to the install part. It's just stuck...
At the very beginning, it was fine. But download got interrupted by whatever reason and downloaded size went deducted by around 2gb. After that, after fully downloaded, it just doesn't work. I uninstalled and redownloaded, but every time I redownload I get the 17-something mb file and it doesn't...
I was able to successfully install High Sierra on my Dell Inspiron 5520. Booting from USB is fine, however I can't seem to boot directly from HDD after following this guide (especially on "Notes on HDD install" part). I get stuck on Apple booting logo without progress bar forever.
Is there...
what i did was disabling intel GPU in bios while i'm still on Sierra, delete downloaded High Sierra file and redownload with intel GPU disabled (I only have nvidia GPU at this time). Install/Update (following tony's tutorial) with terminal without converting APFS. And then update just goes...
Alrighteeee - got it working. This time I disabled intel graphic, update clover, install high sierra without converting to AFS.
Now everything works except audio. GA H87m HD3
Help me out, guys
Update was a problem to me after I followed the guide. But fresh install worked for me.
After fresh installation, I was booted for the first time to fill info and stuff. Managed to get into High Sierra desktop fine. Immediately restart, and, doesn't what I do, I won't get into High Sierra ever...
Only some people managed to get it to work through updating and they dont say anything except posting the “working” screenshot, and then disappeared into the mist.
I will get back to 10.12 tomorrow, and wait for proper update guide.
Thabk you for the insight.
I set igpu as primary. Now everything is working off it now.
The problem is, if i boot with nothing checked but intel inject, it’ll keep restarting once the loading bar is almost finished.
But with nv_disabled=1, i get to finish loading, and see this loading i...
No. I cant even get into bios. No output at all.
Anyway, i went back to make bootable usb, then bite my tongue and fresh install.
I have both intel and nvidia hooked up on 2 monitors. Dvi on intel and hdmi on nvidia.
Nvidia shows loading bar, then stuck (forever) once it hits ~70%
While...
I tried that. But nothing shows up. Like my integrated GPU is dead or something.
I tried with DVI on 2 different monitors I have, none shows up. And i'm sure I have intel graphic enabled in BIOS.
I don't have VGA cable, so can't try that.
I don't remember the last time I used that GPU.
Any...
I am no expert, but the very first time I tried hackintosh I set myself back for one whole night. Everything is followed correctly and hardware requirement is met, but because I was using USB 3.0 port instead of 2.0.
I forgot to mention that it kind of screwed my other SSD up.
I have 2 SSD. One is Samsung 850 EVO ~250gb for Mac, and Sandisk ~240gb for windows.
With windows Sandisk connected, I won't get past mobo logo where you get to press DEL, F12, etc, but pressing anything won't work. It's just stuck...
