Is that the standard Lenovo dock? I heard there were many issues with those docks and OSX.

I would suggest ditching the VooDooHDA kext and going with a properly patched AppleHDA kext. I cannot speak for EC, but in Mavericks I had many many problems with VooDoo that were solved by using the Apple kext.
