Okay. I've got it set to 2, but no change yet. Seemingly unrelated, but I noticed under USB, I have "FixOwnership" checked on that screen. Should I uncheck?

Thank you, @pastrychef! I've got working 3.0 ports, and sound working as well. Although I am having the same issue as @pjmartin82 and @macleod92, where the sound stops working after sleep. Anyone make progress on that? Anyway, many thanks for getting me this far.

Hey @emax19, mind sharing how you fixed your audio? It sounded like I was having the same problem.

My Sound pane shows no devices under the output tab. It's empty. In case it's helpful, I didn't see the Increase 15 Port Limit patch when I went to edit the KextstoPatch. But I pasted the PMHeart code in there anyway.

I did the two step MultiBeast audio run, but am also showing no audio output options. Is it relevant that I am starting with 10.13.5 (not upgrading)?
