does airdrop works with Broadcom wifi cards on Sonoma?

Im trying to update my dell Inspiron 5520 with i5 3210m running macOS Catalina and windows 10 to windows 11, but last time I did, I was not able to make bluetooth work. Has anyone faced this issue?

Update: Used corpnet USBMap tool to create USBMap.kext. now all usb 2 and usb 3 ports working properly. Thanks Everyone for helping :)

Thanks @UtterDisbelief for pointing this out. I will create USBMap.kext once I get the machine running. For now, NVME drive is not showing up. will work on it tonight.

ya I used the EFI from this post and it worked for me too. I had to use USBMap.kext and Macpro7 smbios to get it to work.

After some more comparing, found out I also required MacPro7,1 smbios as well, without which machine did not boot.

So after comparing EFI folders. It turned out to be that USBMap.kext from linked Guides EFI Folder did the trick and let me boot.

Thanks Guys, I used EFI Folder as it is from https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/asus-z590i-gaming-wifi-w-thunderbolt-4-hot-plug-i7-11700k-rocket-lake-6800-xt.315846/ and I'm able to boot the setup. Not sure what fixed it. I will need to compare both the EFI's step by step.

Hello guys I tried with sandisk cruzerblade usb 2.0 16gb with usb 2.0 port on hack, but still same error. Error : Still waiting for root device with prohibited sign. ive attached EFI folder. can anybody help @Feartech @UtterDisbelief @P1LGRIM

Hi @kyfho , I tried USBInjectAll kext v 0.7.7 from caseSJ and added a aCPI patch in open core described in the post. but still im having same issue. only thing is im using usb 3.0 for installation. I don't have 16gb usb 2.0 around me now. I have ordered from amazon, will receive in 2-3 days...

Hi Feartech, im using similar config, Gigabyte B560m HD gaming, wd black ssd, GB rx 6600XT and i5 10400 cpu. and I'm facing exact same prohibited sign issue. I tried updating the build signature, but the site does not have data for my config to update.
