I did what you said, however I do not get HDMI audio. Firstly I am not sure about one thing - do I need an unedited DSDT in extra folder or can I just remove it since I only use it for HDMI audio edits.

I just realised that in system info it shows HD400 768MB. Shouldn't it be 512MB? I've uploaded the dsdt and ioreg. HDMI audio works.

OK Thanks, now HDMI audio working however I still cannot get 1080p to work even after applying 1080p. Not having 1080p is the only reason I do not use hd4000 so if I could fix it, I wouldn't have to hassle with 6870
