All i did was to not use my 3.1 USB ports.
I also navigated to "/Library/Preferences/" and searched for "com.apple.PowerManagement" files and deleted them and restarted my computer. I cannot help you past this point if yours does not work. Sorry.

The problem is with the USB 3.1 ports. I just removed my cable from my usb 3.1 port and the sleep/wake/shutdown mac = restart problem is all gone.
For the record i also removed all the "com.apple.PowerManagement" files in /Library/Preferences/

Letting you know that I share in your frustration. I have Z170i Pro gaming and its a headache to have HD530 running in the first place with: - inject Intel=yes, ig-platform-id to 0x19120000 and fake-id to 0x12345678 (but only have 7mb in graphics :banghead: I tried:

This fixed it for me guys.. change your Intel iGPU inject's hardware ID from 0x00000000 to 0x12345678 from Clover's settings or edit in clover options when you boot the usb. This is a common change needed to boot from 10.12.4 onwards.
Keep your gpu platform id the same 192100.... etc
