Hello!
I have disabled the virtualization in bios . To my understanding if that is disabled you cant create a virtual machine on windows . I have dual boot windows 10 and Yosemite. If I enable virtualization will that affect my osx partition ?
Thanks a lot
If they are very similar then its possible that most of the patches will work since the pbi clover installer is for both 10.10 and 10.9 . My biggest concern is if the pbi clover edition will finish the installation successfully. I can later on change the patches one by one if they need change.
Thanks RM
So to sum it up .
I use the same procedure to install mountain lion as with the clover guide with Yosemite.
I use the pbi clover edition to install the kexts and also the config and DSDT Patching .
I then open the clover configurator and see the new patches installed . I disable...
Thanks RM. Yes I understand about that , I've used it to patch my Broadcom wifi/bt card (5ghz) . So if something doesn't work correctly I will need to change the name for example. The difficult part would be to find the correct value (hex) to correct with if for some reason the patch doesn't...
So in order to install mountain lion , I can follow the same guide as with clover and Yosemite here on this forum but the config.plist will need to change ?
Can I use also the clover PBI to install the kexts and patch DSDT since they are the same as with mountain lion ?
From the clover...
Hi everyone!
I was wondering if it is possible to do it easily since want to use clover bootloader with it .
My guess is that the probook clover installer doesn't work with mountain lion . Therefore I will need to manually install the kexts and make the amd 7650 card not being recognized from...
Thanks for the info , i always though that hybrid shutdown in windows could write files to the yosemite partition therefore i had it disabled .
Now that i enabled it there is massive difference in boot time in windows.
It worked great . Now I can dual boot windows 10 and Yosemite.
I've noticed that boot time in windows 10 takes too long. It seems fast boot is disabled . It is ok if I enable it or it could cause problems to the Yosemite partition ?
I was wondering about that as well . I have two partitions , Yosemite and Windows 8.1 with clover setup.
So there is no issue if we upgrade or new installation of windows 10 ?
I remember sometimes when windows updated , I had to boot from usb to change bootefi64 file to a different name .
Thanks for the info ! It also looked weird to me with a hdd so get that speed .
I will stick with Yosemite but seeing that speed i think might just buy a ssd disk for my laptop . The difference in performance is huge . Only downside i will have to reinstall both windows 8.1 and Yosemite
I would like to ask something .
I have installed yosemite on my probook 4540s using clover installer . I just saw a video in youtube demonstrating mountain lion on 4540s with an i3 processor and 8gb ram , and hdd.
The video shows the mountain lion run insanely fast on this i3 processor...
Hello everyone!
So after the last update where I had to rerun the pbi and fix permissions it seems that my Bluetooth won't recognize devices correctly on cold boot . This can also be spotted from the orange led on wifi/Bluetooth . I know that some may say it is not relevant but it is . When the...
