Windows 10 - No network adapters found

Yep. NIC is enabled. Booting into Windows 10 and looking at the Device Manager I see the WIFI card and the integrated ethernet card and they are both listed as working just fine with the latest drivers. But then as you can see below there are no network connections listed. No WIFI or Ethernet.

Windows 10 - No network adapters found

Hey thanks for finding that link. I tried reinstalling with the Windows 8 driver and I have the same issue where it gives me the error that it cant find the network controller. So I think I just have to wait a bit longer. :(

Windows 10 - No network adapters found

I recently upgraded to the final Windows 10 install and now I am having trouble with it detecting any network adapters (wifi or ethernet). Under Network Connections there is nothing listed. Just a big red X. I am thinking that it's a driver issue, but wondering if anyone has found a solution...

Tried to boot MacBook Pro with Hackintosh HD

So in a moment of stupidity, I tried to boot a USB hackintosh hard drive containing Mountain Lion with my MacBook Pro. Obviously it would not boot and gave me the black screen with a circle and a line through it. I immediately restarted and booted back off of my internal Mac SSD. Problem is...

Randomly stuck on "Loading Operating System..."

Thank you!!! I feel like such a turd. I cloned my hard drive which is also connected and I guess it was trying to boot off of that instead. Such a relief!!

Randomly stuck on "Loading Operating System..."

I have had great luck with my Hackintosh for about a year and just now I rebooted and find myself at the dreaded "Loading Operating System...." screen. I'm not sure what to do at this point. The only thing I can think of that has changed in the last few days is the Java update that I installed...

Can't Boot into Safe Mode - Boots Fine Otherwise

Just an update if anyone else stumbles upon the font issue I had. I was about to reinstall the operating system, but found out that if I migrated a backup of my user folder that the new migrated user account didn't have the font issue. Looks like the database was erased that way. Also remember...

    Reinstalling Lion over Lion

Well after struggling 3 hours trying to fix my font database, I've decided to reinstall Lion. I am 90% sure that if I do that, I won't lose my home directory, apps, and settings, and it will just install the system over again. But I thought I would ask the TonyMac brain first. I'll do a CCC...

Booting spinrite off of DVD or USB

Thanks for the reply flatfoot. Problem is that when I have the CD in my computer on boot it wants to load that before Chimera because that is how it's set in the BIOS. Tony's iBoot guide said to "Boot Priority to CD/DVD first". I don't want to brick my machine so I am treading carefully here...

    Hard Drive Failed...

Hey BartMan01, how were you able to boot into Spinrite on your hackintosh? I have burned a CD and a USB drive and I keep getting an "illegal partition table" error. Do you load it through Chimera? If so, do you have to change the BIOS boot order so that the CD doesn't boot before Chimera...

Booting spinrite off of DVD or USB

I just finished my first hackintosh and I am LOVING it. Thanks everyone! One thing I wanted to try to do was use a HD repair program called Spinrite. In order to use it I need to create a CD or USB image to boot from. I have done this, but for some reason it is not allowing me to boot from...
