First of all, excuse me for my late response. Better late than never, however.
I got lost on the translation of your second paragraph, and I don't know how should I get rid of the "rename HDAS to HDEF"
I would also like to add that now my audio is working but weirdly and that I haven't changed...
This is so wholesome! Thank you all who have made this community possible. <3 You've made me learn to build my beloved Hackintosh and I wouldn't go back to where I was before it.
Greetings, dear community.
Last monday I decided to update my beloved Hackintosh to 10.15, this time looking forward to enabling bluetooth and some other functions such as iMessage once all my basic needs are well set.
Previously on Mojave, I used to have a weird bug in which audio devices...
Problem Reporting
Greetings everyone. I'm here asking for help:
I’m unable to hear anything. Audio ports aren’t recognized, but soundflower is.
My build:
Running macOS Catalina (10.15.3). Previously running Mojave and High Sierra, pretty much smoothly.
Asus TUF Z370-PLUS GAMING
UEFI BIOS...
Freaking genius!
Just in case, I have the same issue, but I used to solve it sending my computer to sleep and then waking it up instead of restarting it.
I have the exact same problem since I updated my OS.
When I turn on the computer, I would usually log in and have no audio until my hackintosh went to sleep. Then, audio would be working fine. But now it goes away until I send Mojave to sleep again! It's super annoying.
For the record, I'm running Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6, and installed it using the last version of Unibeast. My RAM is made of a pair of G.Skill's 8 GB DDR4 2400 MHz.
Dang! I never thought it would be a problem if I moved it out of Utilities! In fact, I moved System Preferences, Disk Utility...
Greetings everyone!
I've been using my High Sierra Hackintosh for almost a month. However, after downloading Geekbench 4 (just for leisure), I noticed that in the Memory info it says "16.0 GB 0 MHz RAM". As I thought this was a mere glitch, I tried to open "About this Mac", and nothing...
Thank you lots Toleda.
After around 6 tries (messed up a lot haha), not only I could successfully install audio, but also learn a bunch about managing kexts, the EFI and much more.
Really great guide! Appreciated!
I did install it.
I now put the -disablegfxfirmware command and could successfully boot and finish installing!
Right after, the screen was flickering in a very annoying way, but after installing Lilu, an intel graphics fixup that comes in Multibeast (can’t recall the name right now) and after...
Thank you BreBo for the instructions to enter Verbose mode. I figured it during the morning, excepting for the “don’t reboot on panic” part. Still, I’ll show what I found as I’m not home yet. Maybe it helps to win some time.
On the first picture the warning is the only thing that just calls my...
Hello everyone!
This week I built my first Hackintosh and could successfully install High Sierra. However, after running Multibeast and restarting the computer, the Mac loading screen only loaded up to 98% or so, and after one or two minutes, rebooted. This became an infinite loop I couldn’t...
