Updated my rig with no issues that I can see so far, was pretty quick with my SSD. I'll keep you posted if anything pops up. Gonna update safari now too.

I have time machine running is the recoveryHd needed for time machine to work? Do you think the recoveryHd package was the reason the update didn’t take the first time around?

Went great but it looked like my machine was gonna do a fresh install cause the Siri screen came up to setup Siri but and after that the screen that says it is configuring my Mac came up then...
So can Mojave load and perform well on this motherboard without get a new graphics card? I am using High Sierra with the Intel graphics and all is good. I don't have any open PCI slots for a new card as I have two audio cards installed into the PCIx slots.

Just wanted to let you guys know of a little update I did to my hackintosh. I wanted to have room to install a UAD PCIe card for audio pulgins in my tower but didn't have any pcie slots open since one PCIe slot has my MOTU audio card in it and the other has the SY-PEX30016 firewire card in it...

still know luck does it matter if the bootloader is UEIF or Legacy? Does it only do the count down in Legacy I think that is what I originally had on the EFI partition but I couldn't get the os to boot with that boot loader, so when I reinstalled Sierra I went with Legacy...
So I have my Sierra up and running using MB9 and when I was installing the OS I remember it gave me like 3 or 5 sec to change what disk I wanted to start up with but now after getting my install down with it does not do that. Clover just sits there and I have to pick which disk to startup on...

Ok so now I did a fresh install of sierra and started to load Multi Beast and just choose legacy efi and nothing else. I noticed what I was building it that the efi partion popped up on my desktop. so after MB finished I backed up the items in the EFI partion to a folder on my usb for safe...
So today I was able to get a fresh install booting by starting it in safe mode. I assume there is something simple i am missing in one of the settings.
Also on a fresh install and when i boot from my usb stick the EFI boot drive mounts to the desktop after I type all my info in when setting up...
So does each partition on my HD have a partition boot on it? When I erase a partition like I will with the Sierra partition will it erase the partition boot too? I am gonna reinstall Sierra now that I know more about MB and Clover and try it again but I like the MB version of clover better...

So I installed clover as a standard install over what was already there from MB and now after the bios screen the cover screen looks all weird (prob a theme issue) and I still can boot up Sierra or my old ML without using my usb stick. Not sure why. I think cause clover isn't...
