software update - didn't update clover or kexts - also had those pesky purple lines during the update but everything is fine so far.

Updated via AppStore, took 3 restarts. Had to reinstall latest IntelMausiEthernet - everything is working fine now.

hi, i am trying to get sierra working on this combination but somehow i can only boot from usb with nvdisable=1. i also have ethernet working (kext) but graphics acceleration is, of course, not working. when i try to boot without nvdisable or nv_**** it stops with this error message...

this is not working for me. i only get 2 ports working for mouse and keyboard, they both fail sometimes though. at the back i only have one port working, 2 front ports alternate working - only several restarts help. all ports work fine until i get into yosemite. is there any other fix for...

depends on what you exactly plan on buying. i had a h61 system and it ran perfectly fine. you need to know the exact specifications.

definitely save on the gpu - if you're not playing games and/or editing videos you don't need that. get a 650w power supply and try for a deal on a 500gb ssd. they're getting cheaper and cheaper atm. save on the mb too and don't forget bluetooth and wlan adapters if you need em.

i repaired permissions, restarted, everything was fine. mail just told me some plug ins don't work in 7.1. - that's all. audio was working as before. :)

hi! i have a ga-z77x-d3h and have set up a raid through the marvell controller. it's working fine in windows but won't show up in osx. any tips/tricks would be greatly appreciated. i just want to use the data that's on there in osx as well. :)
