@Stork again ... is there a reason, why you are using the iMac18,2, or was it just the newest one when you build your setup an you never updated it .. I'm using a I9700K on the Z370 X Hero .. are there any differences for performance/stability, in Choice of iMac model ...?
seems the HDD in my 2008 Macbook died.
I've a perfectly running hackintosh on a Gigabyte GA-Z77N-Wifi and I tried to clone it back to my Macbook (late 2008).
I used Carbon Copy Cloner and SuperDuper! - but the clone is able to boot from USB Docking only, not as internal SATA SSD...

Hi, this doesn't seem to work for me .. If using internal HD4000 and HD7950 with the following settings
Init Display First: IGFX
Internal Graphics: Disabled (OS X will recognize fully)
it's the same result als Booting auto/auto...
really amazing, all working fine, just installed over my Lion installation and after reboot used Multibeast with mit standard settings for GigaByte GA-X48-DQ6 (attached). All working fine, except CMOS-Reset - it's back ... no idea how to fix, but otherwise simply ease to upgrade to Lion...
okay, found the solution ... PCI Root ID Fix was mission, with combo enabler @ PCI Root ID Fix graphics are working flawlessly now - anything is working flawlessly now !
On top I installed the latest NVIDIA Retail_270.00.00f06 Driver and the cudadriver-4.2.10-macos by Nvidia .. Perfect System...
