What are the requirements to get TB3 working? Dell XPS 9350

Hi there! So I've had a successful hackintosh running for about a year to two years now (I know, super cool!). However all my files are everywhere and I have no idea if certain parts are usefull or not. I remember back in 11.12.5, I had TB3 working off of someone else's work (and I don't...

Increase video RAM for macOS High Sierra?

Okay, I've gone ahead and installed macOS High Sierra on my Dell XPS 9350 and as a primarily mac user, I was planning on just scrapping my windows partition and making High Sierra my daily driver (I know this is a terrible idea since High Sierra is still in beta but that's just me - I take large...

DELL XPS 13 9350 macOS High Sierra Public Beta Install

Yeah, 8GB will work however keep in mind that you're on your own for the installation since you have a 9360 and is a different model with different specs than the 9350. Good luck!

    Sound on 10.13 Realtek ALC256?

Not this one, I've done my own ACPI patching before but I have had variable success, this one was done by syscl's auto patcher on github so it's built for my system with the most current BIOS but I hadn't patched it myself. I found what you were referencing and changed it to 0x0D (which would be...

    Sound on 10.13 Realtek ALC256?

Where can I find that? Sorry for the extreme lack of knowledge, I've looked in both patched and origin .aml files and can't seem to find it.

Here's what I think you may need to debug what's going on. Here are screenshots from terminal for kextstat and kextcache as well as a clover folder (minus themes folder) note: VoodooHDA was just installed, should I remove it?

    Sound on 10.13 Realtek ALC256?

nope, no luck. I think I've messed up somewhere along the road. I've done what you did before and gotten the audio working but I fear I may have possibly patched my official AppleHDA when I shouldn't have or something so I'll try re-extracting it from the installation file. I'm going to start...

    Sound on 10.13 Realtek ALC256?

Didn't seem to work. All the kexts loaded in the following order: Lilu, AppleALC, CodecCommander, and finally AppleHDA. I simply dragged and dropped the SSDT-ALC256.aml into ESP/EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/Patched/ Am I missing something? (and yeah, boot args were overall "-v darwake=0 -lilubeta -alcbeta"...
