Thanks for this post, but I was trying to do it and the nano tells me:
"Error writing Info.plist: Operation not permitted"
I did exactly as you say, but I can not change it. I'm in Mojave 10.14.6, any suggestions?
Thank you, yes I have, and I found exactly what I have to erase, however, when I try to save the .plist file, I get an error telling me that I can not make changes to that file. I get this message.
"You do not have sufficient privileges to perform this operation (macOS error code: -5000)."...
Thanks, but I'm still
Thanks, but I'm still a little bit lost, how can I tell which one is the corresponging BoardID, and secondly, the system does no allow me to make changes to that file, I've tried as administrator (which is my user by the way).
It happened something similar, after installing, when you should be seeing the login screen I got a black one. After several minutes, if I move the mouse I can see the arrow flying through the screen, but nothing else. Maybe it is related to yours and we have similar motherboards. Did you fix it?
I used to have that GPU, in Sierra and it worked well for me using NVIDIA Drivers and, every time there was a OSX update, NVidia Drivers updated automatically and my computer worked normally, however, I only used final cut and photo shop and, for what I do, they seemed to work well.

Updated smoothly without problems, My main concern was if USB 3.0 ports would be working fine, and they are still working after 14.10.6. I downloaded Hackintool, and the only "issue" found was that Cover was outdated. I will update it, and see if it goes normal.
Well, I have to say that you are right on guessing, there is not such thing as an I7 8800, but rather a 8700, my mistake and I will change my profile, thanks for noticing it. It was a mistype when updating my profile.
I will go over my BIOS settings again and I will see if they do the trick...
I noticed after updating to 10.14.5 that sometimes, not every time, when booting, right after selecting the boot partition in clover, the screen only shows the prohibited white logo and the computer halts.
If I reboot It will boot normally, but this happens sometimes.
I have 3...
Don't think so, an image is around 8 GB and a CDROM is, at most 800 MB. Besides, I'm not sure if a UEFI partition could be mounted from an optic drive.
I would suggest you to stay with the USB stick.
