yeah dude, i know that, already unchecked as i said some post before, but still no ripples... things are getting better anyways. next step i'll try with the amd 6770m, which should also work natively...

So, today I tried downloading the 7.1 Lion update, tried the IntelHD and IntelSNB from the package and BOOM, QE/CI working! At least: menubar is translucent, chess works and videos work in youtube. But: The ripple effect in dashboard doesn't show anyways... is this normal?

@pauldmps: there must be something different if we have almost the same setup (cpu+hd 3000). can you please tell me which version of the kexts you're using, which kernel, boot loader lion versions, and post the whole DSDT part you modified for the hd 3000 and the full smbios.plist? when you...

@pauldmps: I checked the Info.plist in both AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB and AppleIntelHDGraphics... The only strange thing is that in AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB the pci id 01168086 didn't have the hex prefix "0x". I tried to change it to 0x01168086 but nothing changed. Can you tell me which version...

@pauldmps and mmvie: As I said I'm using Chameleon 2.1 (no errors) because even with the latest Chimera I get the "IOGraphicsFamily not found" error. I already deactivated "Dashboard as a space" and I still can't see ripple effects + my menubar is not translucent. Do you know if there's anything...

@pauldmps: Both extensions are loaded, my device id is 116. @mmvie: tried chimera 1.5, 1.5.1, 1.5.2, 1.5.3 and i always get IOGraphicsFamily not found at boot, so now i'm using Chameleon 2.1

I'm getting the "library kext com.apple.iokit.IOGraphicsFamily not found" too. I hope this can be solved 'cause i need the intel HD 3000 support but since the IOGraphicsFamily kext doesn't get found all the HD kext cannot get loaded...
