Where's your AppleALC.kext? You said that you cannot have your audio working with AppleALC.kext but it seems like you don't even install it. Your debug files must represent the state where your problem is. Your debug files says you're using VoodooHDA.kext
- Remove VoodooHDA.kext...
I just realized that I can get everything working, including external mic, input and output auto-switching, with just a pretty much standard installation method o_O
- SSDT for layout 28. Clover patch might work, didn't test it though. But don't use layout ID 3
- SSDT-CX20752 from RehabMan's...
I'm stuck, please help
- using layout-id 3, i have my speaker, headphones with auto-switching, and internal mic working. I have my external mic on my system preferences but not working.
- using layout-id 28, i have my speaker, headphones with auto-switching, and internal mic working...
Why is my HDEF layout-ID always showing 07 00 00 00 on ioreg?
tried to set layout ID with clover and SSDT to 3 and 28, but ioreg always shows 07 00 00 00.
it only changes the HDAU layout-ID
If i change the layout ID to 28 with clover and SSDT (btw, do i really need to change both of them? they...
Same problem with me, with the same BT hardware
Read here page 4-5:
I finally solved it by adding a boot flags: bpr_probedelay=100 bpr_initialdelay=300 bpr_postresetdelay=300
and enabling "allow bluetooth devices to wake this computer" on Bluetooth Preferences-Advanced
you should probably try it
Yes but it's not working.
When I plug my headset in (it's a combo jack), it's not auto switching, and if I choose it manually it will not recording and no input level feedback animation.
The internal mic works. And the headphone output works with autoswitching as well
So i try to compare between trimmed and non trimmed.
- Boot time 36-37s
- Blackmagic Disk Speed Test: Write 462 Read 495
- Boot Time 33-34s
- Blackmagic Disk Speed Test: Write 454 Read 499
now i'm confused here. Yes, disabling trim apparently gives me a faster boot time...
My battery status works well, and i'm not sure if i have a slow boot. Do i really need to disable Trim on high sierra? i enable trim with a clover patch
I'm using broadwell, and i'm not sure if i have this problem. Do i still need to do a repatch for HDMI ports?
I think i finally solve my problem by enabling "allow bluetooth devices to wake this computer" on Bluetooth Preferences-Advanced. After that, I can normally turn ON/OFF BT after sleep. But then i still got another random "Bluetooth not available" issues. So i try to re-add the flags...
Oh wow, buying another WiFi card with a random Bluetooth hardware is not a really good solution. And it took about a month for the shipment to my country o_O
mine is an m.2 NGFF wifi card, btw
So, it is a dead end
