Hmm, it seems that adding nvda_drv=1 to the Kernel Flags in /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist did the trick. I wonder why I didn't need that flag previously for it to work.
Just did the security update and am on 14F1808. Got offered new driver and updated (346.02.03f07) but after reboot, it's like my Nvidia card (GTX 750 Ti) is no longer present and I get the crappy OS X drivers.
Any suggestions?

I tried everything suggested here too, removing various kexts, copying my DSDT file over, etc. got the keyboard to work with VoodooPS2, but still no mouse in the installer. Works fine in Mavericks. No clue.

Oh dear, maybe that's where I've been going wrong! I can't get PS/2 keyboard to work either.
