I wanted some more memory for one of my HP8300s (it only has eight) and I priced 16GB at $120.00+/- for entry level memory. I then noticed another HP8300 i7 3.4Ghz with 32GB of ram, a 130GB SSD and a 500GB HDD with 2X video cards and Windows 7 pro for sale at $299.00. I jumped on it and will...

Everything on both of my 8300s with 10.12.6 work, EXCEPT on occasion that when the computer wakes up, it cannot connect to the internet. If I try to open the wireless up on the top bar, I get the spinning beach ball - then I have to restart and it works flawless again. Here is the USB adapter...

SOLVED. I did update the BIOS as instructed and did the restore factory defaults at least three times. I did NOT change: Storage Options > Sata Emulation to AHCI. It was instead set to IDE. Once I made the change to ACHI as the noted, all worked 100% and went super smooth! THANK YOU for...

For some reason, when I'm in MAC OS (sierra) utilities, it ONLY shows external drives to choose from in order to install MAC OS and not internal drives. When I restart in Windows 10, both drives and there, show up and work. Not sure what I missed?
