Thanks for the reply man. I finally got it working after doing a complete reinstall with chameleon and now it works like a charm, so weird though, when i "updated" from chimera to chameleon it didn't fix it. weird, but hey if it works i'm happy. lol.

Just use easybeast. DSDTs help but they are not required.

Does it give you an error when booting from chimera, or does it not pop up at all? If there is an error can you take a snapshot? Worst case scenario try chameleon see if it works then re-install chimera.

try usb rollback in multibeast.

open up your log, then open them, see if anything funny comes up, it'll be hit or miss but couldn't hurt to check.

boot with rboot and try usb rollback in multibeast, it might fix it it might not i'm not sure, but couldn't hurt to try.

run update helper first, restart then run 10.6.8. I usually go 10.6.3 to 10.6.7, restart then run update helper, restart, then run 10.6.8 then run multibeast. It will KP otherwise and give you that issue.

Most likely, but I'm not sure how well 5450s work with lion. I know 4ks have netkas' fix and 6ks work oob mostly, but I haven't tried to mess with those, try doing a search on the forum and it could give you some answers. but generally it should work. the key is finding which kexts work bests...
