Are you talking about acidanthera's VoodooPS2? It seems that trackpad buttons are not working using that kext. However, gestures are working pretty ok. Did you manage to do anything about this?

[Guide] Lenovo G50-80 80L0 Big Sur & Catalina OpenCore

Based on this issue found in the Github, a guy with a similar laptop model (z70-80) got this working with that SSDT. I tried but it didn't work for me. I was curious if you tried.

Hmm, did you try to use ACPI patches provided in the Docs folder of the VoodooPS2 repo? (I think these are for thinkpads but may work on this model, too)

As an FYI, using your EFI folder with Big Sur works fine. The only thing I see that's not working are the touchpad buttons (touchpad works, but click buttons not). Other than that, everything seems to work. Looking forward to your Big Sur guide.

[Guide] Lenovo Ideapad 330S-14IKB Big Sur 11.6.2 Opencore

Hello, I've downloaded your EFI as the laptop you used is similar to mine (Ideapad 330s 15IKB), but I'm having no luck in getting it to the install screen (btw I once got there but did not go further). The laptop always reboots after the Apple logo shows up. I did configure the config.plist file...

Yup, worked perfectly this time. I can finally see the SSD potential in the boot time. :D The next step would be to check why the sleep is not working. Thanks! Also, are you using gestures as keyboard shortcuts or are they native?

Using this EFI folder leads to a Chinese installer, I'm trying to clean reinstall the OS now however... Yes, brightness works now. Could you tell me what to do to patch the language? :D

Yes, I do not have any external monitor. This is odd...

Yup, brightness keys work now. However, they have no effect (neither the brightness slider from the settings). Everything else seems to work. If I set the laptop to Sleep and then wake, the brightness control work. It is so strange...

No, it does not work neither this way. However, this was working with your previous EFI zip. Everything seemed to work ok (except it was using VoodooHDA instead of AppleALC)

Well, it seems that I missed that file. Thanks, I will clean NVRAM after this. Edit: Nah, I can not apply it there. Also, brightness slider does nothing in the settings. Do you know what could be?

Great. Thanks! It seems that my brightness keys are not working now. I know I previously fixed this by applying Windows 8 OS Check fix. In which SSDT should I apply this? I may be wrong, too.

Yes, I was thinking about that, too. Just followed the guide... Try updating every kext, this is how it worked for me.
