I have a problem when trying to upgrade to 1080p screen:
- Purchased LP156WF1 (TP)(B1),
- Purchased the cable Roger LVDS 50.4RY03.001.
However the cable does not fit into the new panel ??? The jack on the panel is smaller than the cable end.
What should I do now, please help.
Errors showed in Disk Utillity.
Usually the OS won't boot, and I have to run disk repair from OS X recovery partition.
The errors disappear after successful repair, but they will reappear after a few weeks.
This has happened many times, so I think reinstalling may help. :?:
Hi all,
My Yosemite shows errors such as "Incorrect number of thread records", or "Invalid structure node",...
I want to reinstall Yosemite, but dont know the procedure.
OS X currently runs on SSD, along with Windows 8.1.
Please help me.
Thank you.
Does this happen to anyone or just me:
Everytime I boot up, after choose OS X in Clover screen there is a black screen with white Apple logo in the middle, and it loads slowly, like 5 mins (and I use SSD). This never happened with Marvericks.
Thanks for your advice.
I copied the EFI folder from a Windows installation flash drive to EFI partition. Then I use the command prompt in Windows Repair to fix it.
But now there are two duplicates in Clover screen, one can boot to 8.1 and the other does nothing. How to remove an entry in Clover ?
please help me with this situation on 4540s:
-Mavericks runs on SSD
-Windows 8.1 runs on HDD
Both were able to duaboot with Clover. EFI is located in SSD.
Yesterday, Mavericks partition failed and I had to restore the whole SSD from image. And then I cannot see Windows in Clover boot screen...
I installed Marvericks with Clover, and it has been working marvelously.
Then today, I install Win8.1 on another drive...
When I boot up normally, I cannot see Windows 8.1 UEFI in loader screen.
But if I choose to boot up using EFI > Clover > CLOVERX64.efi, I can see both OSes.
How to fix this ?
How do we backup the OS X partition ? Since Clover creates another EFI partition, I assume we need to back it up as well.
I want to back up the whole OS with necessary partitions, in case my hard drive fails or some other disasters. I used to use Clonezilla with Chameleon, but what about Clover...
That button doesn't work for me either. Once you push that little one, you won't get wifi again.
Go to BIOS and turn on/off wireless switching, then save and restart. That would bring our glorious wifi back.
