    Delete your "AppleHDA_ALC256.kext" from ///Library/Extensions/ I had the same problem, looked in your debug - then in mine and I found the problem. the problem was after update - that the file was build into the folder from the script of @the-darkvoid . after deleting I start "sudo kextcache -I...

    Updated today to 10.13.6. just patched new hda with the beautiful script from @the-darkvoid. And yes the QHD+ colorsync profile is amazing! Thank you @the-darkvoid

    When i do a check at UseARTFrequency in clover I get much better scores (single core 6200 with the i7-7500U), but I had bad issues with audio. It took me a few days to figured out the problem. Without the check the score is always around 4000.

    i see the intel power gadget cpu peak is at 2,2 Ghz. Have to check out the problem. Edit: changed smbios to MacBook Pro 14,1, now all works perfect. Thank you for the ideas.

    I did a new Geekbench CPU-Benchmark with my i7 7500U. at Sierra the values were next to the values of the first posting of bozma88 . since High Sierra 10.13.2 the results are: Single-Core Score: 2676 Multi-Core Score: 5507

    @jkbuha Can you please tell me what is the difference to the settings of the guide from @bozma88. Because i have the same config as your xps (qhd, i7-7500) and my display resolution with hidpi is with the config of bozma88 1600x900

    To find the BIOS version search for XPS9360_1.3.5.exe
