ok I finally got it to load and boot into the system so i know i got all the kets files needed i turned off sleep mode but still after 15 mins it panics saying I need to hold down the power button. I'm assuming its a kernel panic but nothing comes up to say what's causing the panic it just freezes.
KoalaMan thanks once again for pointing me in the right direction I will attempt to try the ivybridge patch didn't know about it. I see patching the kernel manual I'll let you know how it goes. You've been a tremendous help in getting my first build going
The Bios is current f12 for this particular motherboard I had to borrow a i3 2120 from work to re-flash the bios to get my i5 to work again. again thank you tremendously i got my very first hackintosh to work with your guidance. Just not with my personal cpu lol i don't think my job will let me...
Booted using the unibeast usb and typed commands and system recycles after going through a list of driver and kernel commands. I tried to boot single user mode and I booted each time with just one command executed as in -v -f -x all commands alone. I still get a recycle starts loading then...
Ok I got the pdf to work it was just a corrupt file from the install about stacks pdf works fine. I just swapped the cpu from the i3 2nd gen to the i5 3rd gen and i don't even get a kernel panic it shows the apple logo then flashes and recycles like the GSOD(grey screen of death) I've seen...

If you mean through Multibeast Iv'e done that but then I have to enter the command GraphicsEnabler=No PCIRootUID=0 so i'm still a little confused and stuck. If i use unibeast with those commands it works fine.
How do I do that I never done this sort of installation before and what do I do about my borrowed processor and pdf extensions that is some how a lpdf extension?
KoalaMan I finally got my system up and running following Gordo's guide but I still have a few issues they are as follows. 1) i can only boot into the system by having to enter GraphicsEnabler=Yes PciRootUID=0 I haven't found anything anywhere on these forums to correct that. 2)installing lion i...
Thanks Ive been trying to get my system up and running but I do have one question. I have a 3rd gen i5 processor 3570K and I had to borrow a 2nd gen processor to get this thing to work any help on getting the i5 to work instead of the i3 2nd gen?
From poking around and learning as I read the problem lies in your i7 its a 3rd generation which lion and mountain lion support only. I had a similar issue but with an i5 3rd gen I swapped to a i3 to reflash my bios and tried SL for the hell of it and it went through
KoalaMan thanks a lot for all the help you have been providing what it turned out to be is my processor. I have a 3rd gen i5 and had to borrow a 2nd gen i3 from work because I rolled back my bios. now its starting to go through but as soon as lion's install GUI comes up it goes black so I'm...
