I did not switch to iMacPro because of NVRAM. It is because I switch between Clover and OpenCore for testing, which is much more easy on iMacPro SMBIOS.
I never compared the Benchmarks. My system runs on 8x5GHz and is the fastest I ever had. I don't think that 2% faster Benchmarks will help me...

Do you have a Graphics Card or do you use the internal GPU? Where do you connect the HDMI Cable? (GPU or iGPU?)
Do you have the same EFI on the USB Stick and the SSD?

If you have Clover greater than r5000, you can delete the "driversUEFI" folder. All drivers have to be in "drivers/UEFI"
OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi can be replaced with FwRuntimeServices.efi and OcQuirks.efi and OcQuirks.plist
EmuVariableUefi-64.efi can be replaced with EmuVariableUefi.efi...
Could be that your bios settings are Not ok. Have a Look at that and make experiments. For example xmp, vT-d, cms... Turn off everything, that is Not needed.
On the Other Hand, you always Need a Second system to work on your efi or a bootable backup
Doesnt matter at what Time you install the scripts. Be shure to set the correct boot Drive in bios

Please have a Look at my efi and install ONLY the Drivers and kexts i used. Oh my god.
Delete the ones that are not needed. They will interfere...

Mount efi Partition with clover configurator
Download aktual Clover with clover configurator
Install actual clover WITH scripts
Replace efi folder on efi Partition with Mine or whatever you like
Find out if you Need shiki..
