I was just going to post on the exact same problem! I have Windows 7 running on a second SSD and it keeps shutting down. Mine will restart no problem, however. I'm thinking it's gotta' be something in the bios settings but I don't know jack about Windows.
I forgot to mention and this is probably key (sorry I'm a noob) but I replaced the original wifi card with an Atheros card per bitdoctor's instructions:

I have a very similar build to yours with h77n, i3, 8 gigs of RAM Corsair Vengeance. My boot drive is a ScanDisk SSD recommended in the buyer's guide and I don't have a Gigabyte Boost. I set my bios to optimized default.
