I'm trying to help my father with a small issue he is having with his machine. After the computer wakes from sleep his screen will be fuzzy/pixelated for around 12 seconds and then the screen suddenly goes back to normal. I've tried searching the forum to see if anyone has had a similar issue...
After poking around a bit, it appears the change that made FCPX start to work was changing the AAPL,ig-platform-id to <01001219>. It does seem like 37 to 40 seconds is about right for a 1050 Ti after searching for other scores. I think you're probably right about Bruce X not changing much with...
Thank you pasterychef! The new config allows me to open FCPX without issue and quick sync appears to be enabled. That said I just ran the Bruce5k benchmark with a result of 40 seconds. I would have thought with Quick sync working I would see an improvement. If everything is setup correctly...
I'm having a hell of a time trying to get Quick sync and Final Cut to work together. After enabling Quick Sync I'm unable to open Final Cut Pro X. FCPX will say it quit unexpectedly when I try to open it. I've worked through the instructions in post #1 and hardware acceleration is enabled...

The plugins were installed via MultiBeast. Here is my config from the install:
It looks like your CPU/chassis fans aren't reporting either. Just your GPU fan. That said, I would have thought only Asus graphics cards would have monitor data come through. We both have EVGA cards and I'm not...
Add more happy customer. Just finished getting everything working. iMessages, Sleep, Pascal graphics, SSDT, all good. I just haven't been able to get my fan speeds to report in HWMonitor. Is anyone able to see fan speeds from their Hero VIII board?
This is what I see.
For those that are having to power cycle their display or unplug and replug after booting, the solution that worked for me was to set "BootDisplay" (in Clover Configurator -> Graphics) to 2.
The default is apparently 0 and by choosing a different number (1, 2, 3....) a different port will be...
I'm not sure why your audio isn't working. You might try a fresh install.
