    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Updating to OC 0.8.5 caused my Windows 10 boot drive to brake. It's on a separate Sata SSD, macOS is on M.2. It shows up on the OC boot screen, but when I select it, screen goes black and computer immediately freezes. I can tell because holding down the power button makes it shut off within a...

[Success] AMD RX6000 Series working in macOS

Hah, wth. I'm sure I tried with it enabled on my initial tries and then it didn't work. Now it suddenly did! Well, thanks for that! I seem to be up and running again!

Even with this plist the system info still says 73af. It should say 73bf, right?

Monterey and Gigabyte 6900XT, no HW Acceleration.

Thanks for the quick reply. I just realized I'm an idiot and listed the wrong card. I have the XFX Radeon RX6900XT MERC 319! Does this change anything about your comments? :) The card name seems to spoof correctly, but the device-ID is still 73af in system info.

Monterey and Gigabyte 6900XT, no HW Acceleration.

I'm on the Designare Z390 with a Sapphire Radeon RX 6900 XT Nitro+. Since I updated to OC 0.8.5 / Ventura I don't have HW acceleration anymore and I feel I've tried most things posted on several threads on here, but to no avail. Could you please have a look at my Config? Thanks!

[Success] AMD RX6000 Series working in macOS

I just installed macOS Ventura on OC 0.8.5 and now I'm back to not having my Radeon RX 6900 XT being recognised, getting inverted/laggy OS + wrong card labeling in system info. I've dug through this thread for answers but no luck so far. I also have ID 73af and IGPU on my Designare Z390 is set...

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

After updating to OC 0.8.5 and installing macOS Ventura, I'm back to having my Radeon RX 6900 XT not being properly recognised as a GPU and my OS UI is slow and inverted/glitchy. In Monterey I sorted it with an SSDT only, which I can not remember which one it was. Is it still fixable? How...

Is Ventura safe to install on OC 0.8.4? Or should I update to 0.8.5?

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

I'm in Europe. And I want to avoid trim problems similar to the Samsung drives. Is it only Samsung, or other drives having problems as well?

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

What is the fastest/most compatible 2TB m.2 disk to buy for this system atm?

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Ok, thanks. So what you’re saying is the only way to speed the boot time up and/or enable trim is to get a new non-samsung drive?

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Yep, seems like it: Is this because trim is on and I need to turn it off to speed things up? I don't reboot that often. Is is better to leave it be?
