Hi Edhawk, thanks very much for the input. I use a wired trackball mouse, I think it is most likely my SSDT file but will check everything. I guess it might also be the user account in OS X. The problem is occurring in SnagIt etc. also, so not just Excel. Cheers!

yes I guess you are right. I'm surprised they just don't remove it completely. VLC is better overall anyway IMO except that it never remembers where you left off last time, there is a setting to enable that but it doesn't work, never has.

Thanks. I tried the 0906EB ID (have Catalina) and got the same error as before during loading of Clover, that it wanted decimals, but when I tried it with the KabyLake H ID from the drop down list, I didn't get the error.

Thanks! Right I saw it now, it's the drop down list under FakeCPUID. It seems to stop at Kabylake, I am after CoffeeLake. Can I just enter the ID for Kabylake H for Coffee Lake? I tried it just now and didn't get any errors. Cheers.
