Thanks utter disbelief... EFI folder there but reboot goes to Apple logo followed by 3/4 of progress bar and then a black screen. As it goes to the black screen there are some small 1” horizontal pink bars on the screen then the black screen.....

Thanks for the reply. Yes all installed ok, it’s when I remove the USB after getting to the Mac desktop.... Since my original message I have issues with the machine getting beyond the Bios splash screen. Ill try a battery removal/replacement and see how that goes...
