[Guide] Intel Skylake NUC6 (and Skull Canyon) using Clover UEFI (NUC6i5SYK, NUC6i7KYK, etc)

Thanks. Finally figured it out. In the bios I had VT-d enabled on the old Nuc and disabled on the new. As soon as I changed that it booted up perfectly.

Thanks I realize there is nothing anyone can do to fix without logs. But I was more interested to learn if there was something basic, like if OSx ties itself to some form of hardware ID during installation, like a few other OS's do, that would prevent something simple like this.

[Guide] Intel Skylake NUC6 (and Skull Canyon) using Clover UEFI (NUC6i5SYK, NUC6i7KYK, etc)

Quick question. The NIC went bad in my NUC6i5SYH, Have a new box from Intel identical in every way. I placed the M.2 SSD & Memory from the old NUC into the new NUC. Set the bios so they were identical. New NUC boots Clover and clover starts trying to boot OSx, but all it get to is the apple...

[Guide] Intel Skylake NUC6 (and Skull Canyon) using Clover UEFI (NUC6i5SYK, NUC6i7KYK, etc)

Quick update, I think I know the problem. But I haven't fixed it yet. Looks like the scripts from the RehabMan nuc repo update /EFI/CLOVER/xxxxx. (or /Volumes/<disk-name>/EFI/CLOVER as it's same) but when you boot in safe-mode that's not the same EFI partition that Clover uses to boot. So...

Thanks for your quick reply. I did update, now it get's further, but crashes/reboots at the point where the apple logo starts to flash. Ran the following, no errors all compleated successfully. cd ~/Projects/nuc.git git pull sudo make clean sudo make sudo make install_nuc6 sudo...

[Guide] Intel Skylake NUC6 (and Skull Canyon) using Clover UEFI (NUC6i5SYK, NUC6i7KYK, etc)

First of all RehabMan, thank you for the great information and work. My NUC works much better under this guide than it ever did using others. I did have some strange issues on the initial install, where I had to have both HDMI and DVI monitors attached as I could never get a complete boot under...

[Guide] El Capitan on the Intel Skylake NUC

I just installed the latest clover, and a reboot went fine, then installed the latest update (security & itunes), and now the system goes into a constant re-boot. Clover shows up fine, then when it boots, it resets the machine before the apple logo even shows up. Boot clover with verbose mode...
