Thanks. Finally figured it out. In the bios I had VT-d enabled on the old Nuc and disabled on the new. As soon as I changed that it booted up perfectly.
Thanks I realize there is nothing anyone can do to fix without logs. But I was more interested to learn if there was something basic, like if OSx ties itself to some form of hardware ID during installation, like a few other OS's do, that would prevent something simple like this.
Quick question. The NIC went bad in my NUC6i5SYH, Have a new box from Intel identical in every way. I placed the M.2 SSD & Memory from the old NUC into the new NUC. Set the bios so they were identical. New NUC boots Clover and clover starts trying to boot OSx, but all it get to is the apple...
Quick update, I think I know the problem. But I haven't fixed it yet.
Looks like the scripts from the RehabMan nuc repo update /EFI/CLOVER/xxxxx. (or /Volumes/<disk-name>/EFI/CLOVER as it's same) but when you boot in safe-mode that's not the same EFI partition that Clover uses to boot. So...
Thanks for your quick reply. I did update, now it get's further, but crashes/reboots at the point where the apple logo starts to flash.
Ran the following, no errors all compleated successfully.
cd ~/Projects/nuc.git
git pull
sudo make clean
sudo make
sudo make install_nuc6
sudo...
All has been running perfectly for ~8 months, I just updated itunes (i'm sure there was a security patch in there also), and now it won't boot, get's stuck with kernel panic. Here is a screen shoot with clover set with -v boot option.

I just installed the latest clover, and a reboot went fine, then installed the latest update (security & itunes), and now the system goes into a constant re-boot. Clover shows up fine, then when it boots, it resets the machine before the apple logo even shows up. Boot clover with verbose mode...
