I currently run all my kexts (all of them not from a vanilla install) on the EFI partition. Is that the same as System Partition in your eyes, or are you referring to ~/System/... ?
I'm curious as to why you say this, if it's the ~/System as that's not how I have it setup currently and things...
Mind blowing. Here's the details for everyone in case they want to do the same -- and for @RehabMan to tell me exactly what I'm doing wrong :p

Yes it does, you are correct. But my render speeds absolutely reflect it being enabled. I think VDADecodeChecker will return the error regardless due to the external GPU's not carrying over the IOVARenderID.
Either way I can supply proof if needed. DaVinci Resolve render times went from ~10/11...
What is the ideal setup for 17,1 SMBIOS and iGPU, and 2 x external GPU's?
iGPU > IGPU
PEGP@0 > GFX1
PEGP@1 > GFX2
Also how best to inject VDADecoderID?
?
With a little experimenting I noticed that I could have 3 x Graphics enabled. HD530, 1080Ti, 980TI and as long as I plugged my GUI monitor (and only one) into the HD530.... I would have all 3 graphics AND QuickSync.
So there's a way...Somehow. But the spoofing and the reverse engineering is a...
I cannot run 3 GPU's, things like safari and finder will crash -- definitely not an ideal setup. integrated GPU is disabled for now. Hoping RehabMan can walk me through this with his genius. Maybe my SMBIOS isn't compatible with 3 GPU's....Maybe the Mac Pro SMBIOS. But my GPU's don't match and...
I've noticed everything works perfectly when the GPU's are removed.
How can I get quicksync/intel HD functionality but still operating with the GPU's installed?
edit: If I have all 3 GPU's installed and working, and the BOOT monitor is plugged into the onboard HDMI.... WE're in like Flynn. The...
Hello!
I have everything currently working minus I THINK quick sync for the CPU integrated graphics.
The 980Ti is recognized, the 1080Ti is recognized, and Intel HD Graphics also exists. Airplay mirroring works, etc.
BUT! I still don't think quick sync is working properly so I don't believe I...
