Thanks for the great info. I bought this card because other people on this forum were using it with HDMI. Oh well, I guess it just isn't compatible with my TV.

No, I don't have one at hand to test, but I could pick one up today. This wouldn't be a perfect solution for me because it wouldn't allow audio over HDMI. I plan to use this with Front Row.

Sorry, I'm not new to these kinds of forums either, it was just an oversight. Here is my hardware: Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2 Motherboard Gigabyte HD5770 Graphics Card The TV is an older 720p LG 42PC3D Plasma with a native resolution of 1024x768. My Monitor is an Asus VW246H.

Also I noticed that when the TV is connected, I do not have a transparent menu bar and Expose does not work at all. The system becomes somewhat unstable as well, with Safari crashing repeatedly. This happens on my main install and on another fresh installation.

I installed the ATI Experimental bootloader and everything works fine on my monitor through DVI, but my TV with HDMI is getting no picture. There is a picture right through the boot screen with the apple logo, and as soon as the other monitor goes to the desktop, the TV goes blank and flashes...

I would guess the problem lies in using the HDMI port. I have the same card and when I try to use HDMI I get a black screen as well. Does it work with just one monitor on the DVI port?

I noticed today that in my About This Mac window, my RAM is listed as "4 GB 1333 MHz RAM", no DDR3 or anything like that. In System Profiler it simply says "There was an error while gathering this information." In Geekbench under system information it also lists my RAM as being simply.. RAM...

I can't get GPU temp on my GTS 250 no matter what app I use. Everything else shows up fine.

Re: 10.6.3 released I actually got impatient and went ahead and installed it. Everything seems to be working perfectly except all my internal hard drives are now showing up orange as if they are external drives. I haven't run into any other issues.

Where do you get that case? I can't find it on Newegg and the Fractal Design web site doesn't show any locations to buy it in North America.
