DSDT should not be affected if you play with quickboot or bootlogo, but never change a running system ... I recommend attaching another drive with e-sata and run a carbon-copy-clone every once in a while...and don´t forget to repair permissions on the external drive as well. This helps a lot...

Hi! were you able to solve this problem? I have similar issues, that fan noises are going up high (no clue if its powersupply or processor fan though). If I boot into win7 the silverstone case stays calm... thanks for your tips everyone
