Here you have my clover directory. As you can see I work with DSDT version history to fall back to the old dsdt file if a new patch would not work. I recommend to patch your own dsdt file.
Currently I'm busy with other projects. I'm thinking about starting all over with a fresh install of...
Hi,
Yes, the performance is better than W10. I can't explain why, must have something to do with structural OS differences.
I'm running Sierra for over to month's now and I'm pretty happy with it. There are a few things I have to fix like trackpad and sleep that is not working properly for same...
I don't think you will experience much difference. Windows supports in out of the blue, the only thing you will notice is that you have to connect to your networks again.
I used this wifi card from eBay.

Currently I am a bit busy. I expect to have it fully working later this month. I will edit the startpost with clear instruction by then.
How about illuminated keyboard?
I own A UX410, it's basically the same laptop, only a bigger screen. I created my own topic for it. Everything works but keyboard lighting.
I did see that post yesterday. Yes, the UX410 is basically a UX310 with a bigger screen.
That guide looks almost the same as what I did (not surprising), but I didn't patch the HDA in clover but just used a dsdt edit.
Don't know what do do with my topic now:crazy: I learned a lot about dsdt...
Together with Rehabman's links I think you can make a very good start with the information provided in my third post.

I don't know what version you are using. There are many different versions of...
Meanwhile I managed to get the Fn keys working. Thank you for the Touchpad link, I will take a look at it later this week. I actually already linked to that page in my deleted post.
I am experiencing one problem that has something to do with backlight levels. When I dim the backlight, very...
My WiFi module arrived a few days ago, so I got busy patching my DSDT and SSDT's again.
It is running fine at the moment, I only have to fix a few things. The more difficult things of course.
That is:
Audio over HDMI
HDMI Hotplugging (looks like it works)
Brightness control (seems to work with...
Thank you for your reply.
After reading more about ACPI I realised that perhaps It's better to wait with patching until I have installed the new WiFi card.. (?)
In the meantime I can learn and tryout with dsdt patching :)
Hello there,
It has been about 6 years ago since I last build a proper hackintosh, the machine I build that time is still running fine (still on Mavericks). In the meantime I have been using Windows.
Recently I bought a Asus ZenBook UX410UA, with an i5 7200U Kaby Lake CPU and Intel HD 620...
Concrats!
I also just finished my hackintosh.
I'm not getting speedstep to work because I can't run PStateChanger, I get a lot of errors while loading VoodooPstate.kext
Did you get it work? We both have the same cpu :)
And sleep annoys me, I really want to fix that. If I find the solution...
Re: DSDT Database: Socket 775 Submission Thread
Here's my GA-EG41MF-US2H rev1.3 Bios F5 dsdt wich I got using Ubuntu.
I accidentally dropped this in the 1156 topic
Unfortunately this new kext doesn't work for me. The 10.6.4 kext does work, but with no 5.1 over s/pdif :( I'm trying to find a way to enable it.
If I don't want to use HDAEnabler.kext, what code should I add to my dsdt file?
