    You are a genius! Internet works perfect now, Thank you so much.... Could I bother you for one more help? My sound is not working. If I run it through a USB interface, it works mint, and I can hear, just not from any of my ports?

    I adjusted and made them children, but still no go, not it doesn't hang any more it just says no internet, I will send you a zip of my Config, maybe there is something there that you can see, plus I do not think audio is working but one step at a time LOL. thank you for helping

    OK...Thanks, JBX, that solved most of my issues. I still can't connect to the Internet though. It is farther than before when I try to connect it. At least it looks like it is trying to load the page, progress. I found this but do not know how to put it in my list... can you help? Ethernet...

    I was just following another video...so what do you use instead of Lucy? I have the 2.5gb LAN no WIFI...plus my board is MSI not a Gigabyte.

    No I have to manually input it, if I try the automatic way it says "Ethernet has a self assigned IP address and will not be able to connect to the internet"

    That doesn't work either. I put in my routers DNS into the DNS spot and tried with the router address. It still says connected, but cannot get out.

    I checked that and everything was green"good to go". Yes ,I do not get an IP address. I have to enter it manually then it says connected but I cannot get online, says no internet connection.. On my old 2009 iMac it gives me a router options where my PC install does not
