I'm using the M.2 NGFF BCM94360NG Wifi 802.11ac Bluetooth 4.0 Network Card. (I cut and pasted that title from Newegg, can you tell?). Yeah, every time I would pop back in, after waking from sleep, I would have to type that now-annoying sudo pkill bluetoothd command in terminal or my TrackPad...
No I hadn't actually - not sure why. I just gave it a go and the driver is now reporting as loaded. Thanks again! Twice now you've saved me some headaches! I truly do appreciate the help! Also just realized that SSDT-USBW and UsbWakeUpFix.kext was making all bluetooth devices hang on wake up...
Hey Casey, thanks for the reply! If you go back to post 992 you can see I attached a screenshot where I do exactly that. I've studied your first post in depth. I'm not sure why the TB4 driver isn't loading. I have checked my IOReg and it looks like everything lines up but like I've mentioned...
Awesome. Does this look correct? Did you change speed to 1000baseT?
EDIT: Yep! That worked! Best speed I have in the entire house actually! THANK YOU! Now I just need to figure out why that TB driver isn't loading...
@CaseySJ (and all the other amazing people here that are wiser to this than I!)
Ok as a reply to my last post, I got the computer sleeping properly - my USB audio port was causing the computer to wake up. I don't use on-board audio so once I disabled the port, the issue went away.
HOWEVER...
@CaseySJ
First off, thank you thank you thank you! I have used this thread as a guide to get MacOS up and running very well on a similar build, just the Asus Z690-i Strix board (12700k/6900 XT/6000mhz DDR5). It's quite a beast! I have a full hardware-only based build log over on another site...
According to the blog of @fangf2018 these SSDT’s cause BSOD when booting into Windows from OC. You can use rEFInd if you don’t want to change the boot options thru BIOS.
So I took a look... Now let me preface by saying that unfortunately I didn't keep much of my own personal hack's EFI data from Mojave... A bit of this had to come from some quick and dirty research. Give this EFI a try... I did update your SMBIOS to iMac19,1 with the use of both your iGPU...
Post a zip of your EFI (serials removed), and I’m sure someone can help. I’ve only ever used legit Apple WiFi cards. So I didn’t have to deal with the headache. But I’m sure someone here can help you. I’ll gladly take a look. And, yes, thread is still active.
Yeah, I tried that too. Said board-ID not supported. So I guess he hasn’t kept up with it. Oh well.
Anybody else have any advice? @mango1122 @fangf2018 ??
Can someone give me some quick advice on how to create CPUFriend/CPUFriend Data Provider? I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find a guide outside of the somewhat confusing readme on acidanthera's github. My goal is to use a MacPro7,1 SMBios with the stock frequencies for the 9900K (no...
So I'm a bit torn here. I'm currently running a iMacPro1,1 SMBIOS, but realize I might really be missing out on having Sidecar inactive. (I'm a 3D Designer.) I've been using Luna Display for a couple years now, but native is always best. Does anyone have any advice on how to put iGPU (UHD 630)...
I would also like to do this... where is the guide? Not seeing it...
EDIT: Found it, I must have skipped past the “Clover” part when I read your msg above. Thanks! This is awesome! So much easier than other tutorials I’ve read!
