Worked for me, but again, I had to manually select the installer at Clover boot screen at each reboot. Everything working, but Continuity seems to have stopped working.
Do you still need to inject Intel if you disabled it in the BIOS. My card is working but I get occasional glitches when watching video. I'm on a WQHD monitor.
Thank you, that's what I thought. I disabled it in the BIOS and dropped it in Clover. I saw something about injecting Intel & ATI in Clover when using a Sappire Pulse RX580. Wasn't sure if it was required since real macs with that card also have IGPU graphics.
Do I need to use this method if I disabled the Intel onboard graphics? Do I still need to set ig-platform-id when using an natively supported AMD RX580? I still get some graphic glitches when watching video and am convinced it has something to do with this.
I came to the same realization and bought a Saphire Radeon 580. The HDMI audio boot issue was driving me crazy as well. Looks like my son got a slightly used 1050ti.
My screen goes black during the progress bar and my monitor sleeps on no signal, but I know just to let it reboot and it goes smoothly. Started that way with initial upgrade to Mojave.
That did it. Created new Mojave installer and copied over the EFI folder, deleted the old boot.config and used my old config.plist. All good now with iMessages working again. That EFI folder has been constantly updated for four years, at least three OS upgrades, and finally gave up the ghost...
Thanks for the advice. I am using a High Sierra USB Installer so I'm creating a Mojave one now. I copied apfs.efi to the drivers64UEFI and I can see the drives now but they don't boot. I'm going to try the Mojave apfs.efi file now.
I removed the Clover folder and reinstalled Clover back onto the EFI. I then overwrote my config.plist and added my kexts to other. I can boot Clover from the system hard drive but only my Windows drive shows up. My Mojave installation does not. The only way I can boot my Mojave is from an...
I was able to boot it with Clover on a USB stick. I must have an issue with either Clover or my EFI partition on that drive. I removed the Clover directory and reinstalled it with the same kexts and config.plist. Clover now only shows my Windows drive but Clover on the USB stick still shows...
Perfectly working Mojave booting from Clover. Nothing changed but on a reboot I now get the prohibited sign. The only thing I did on the previous session was try to play Fortnite with my kids (which was unusable) and install Office.

I have a new problem I've never seen before. All of my USB 2 and 3 ports are working and have been for four years. I have no DSDT or SSDT patches but am using USBInjectAll.kext. After I switched my graphics card from Nvidia to AMD, my USB 3 ports work but not for hard drives. I can plug the...
So I backed up my High Sierra drive successfully getting ready to update to Mojave, and swapped out my 1050ti for a Radeon Pulse 580. I decided to put the drive on my SATA bus in order to have both bootable OSs. I used a bad cable and fried the SSD with the backup. With perfect Murphy's Law...
