    i7-4930K - Asus Rampage IV Extreme - 32GB RAM - GTX 770 4GB [Success!!]

Anybody having USB working on that board and Mojave? I have all USB controller working, but most of them not visible in Hackintool/System Information, and I'm not able to discover the ports for creating a custom SSDT. In IORegistry I can see the controller but not one port available.

A Beginner's Guide to Creating a Custom USB SSDT

As said the controller appears only while using the pre-compiled 2014 SSDT I found online in the mentioned thread. Apparently is the only way to bring up the second controller.

A Beginner's Guide to Creating a Custom USB SSDT

Hi Hi UtterDisbelief, sorry my mistake. I edited the thread, and I attached the ioreg and config, as you can see I have both patch enabled. The controller work fine on windows, I installed windows in dual-boot in order to verify all them. Only one controller is showing up in Hackintool...

A Beginner's Guide to Creating a Custom USB SSDT

Hi UtterDisbelief, sorry for the late reply, I've been rely busy at work. So I've been playing with the IORegistryExplorer. A Beginner's Guide to Creating a Custom USB SSDT

Many thanks again for your help UtterDisbelief, So yes, they are old, and that is why I'm trying to build my custom SSDT, but right now those are the only SSDTs that are in some way able to bring up the two USB2.0 controllers. If I remove them, or I boot with the SSDT I created, I lose one of...

A Beginner's Guide to Creating a Custom USB SSDT

Many thanks @UtterDisbelief , I found those *aml files in this old guide, I'm aiming to replace them. I actually use to overwrite it with the one produced with my Hackintool SSDT-UIAC.aml at any test I do with Hackintool. But the one I created with Hackintool doesn't work, as only the first USB2...

A Beginner's Guide to Creating a Custom USB SSDT

Thanks @UtterDisbelief, I did read in past posts you don't give support for it, in fact I completely forgot USBPorts.kext was a kext produced by Hackintool. I'll definitely contact him, as I'll have the USB3 working. So basically the kext injected are almost the same I previously uploaded in...

A Beginner's Guide to Creating a Custom USB SSDT

Thanks @UtterDisbelief. Yes I confirm your theory, I come the same conclusion, as I uninstalled the pci-e type-c card, and the PRT1 is still there. According to the Hackintool documentation, it should be a hub, that would explains why the duplicate entry. I made further tests and I can confirm...

A Beginner's Guide to Creating a Custom USB SSDT

Many thanks for your replies @UtterDisbelief. So I need to admit that I'm quite confused now, because I get just USB2.0 bus, not USB3.0, as for system report screenshot attached. Also the type-c ports doesn't work, and one think that is actually very strange, is that when I attach the keyboard...

A huge thank you @UtterDisbelief for your help to the community, and your great guide, I learned a lot of things thanks to it. So yes, you are absolutely correct. As suggested, with those kext in place, I'm able to see two controllers. Now I'm apparently back to a previous working configuration...

A Beginner's Guide to Creating a Custom USB SSDT

Hi @UtterDisbelief , I've been googling since now 5 days without fix my issue. In my Rampage hackintosh, I'm can't enable the XHC USB Controller. I tried almost everything. I did read that as I'm on Mojave, I don't need usb injection at all. So tried to add and remove from clover kext folder...

Many thanks fallen00sniper! It should also solve the boot loop? By the way my build already comes with PCI-AC66, it was a coincidence to see that's compatible with Osx
