Intel Core i7-13700KF Low CPU Geekbench 6 score, Sonoma 14.4.1

It could be the DDR4 holding you back...DDR5 gives about 20% faster multi-core performance. Usually it doesn't affect single core that much though. Do you have XMP enabled for your RAM?

Intel Core i7-13700KF Low CPU Geekbench 6 score, Sonoma 14.4.1

Get rid of the CPU friend kexts and just use iMacPro1,1. My single core score is 3155(+1 overclock). Multi-Core(just P-cores enabled) 17255

Unable to install macOS Sonoma 14.4?

Well, I tried it again from the system update and it worked. I did disable the intel bluetooth kexts before I tried a second time. Maybe that was the trick. Now that I am on 14.4.1, I added them back and it seems to work fine.

I'm having this problem too. Were you able to figure it out?

    USB Problems after 14.4 Update?

I saw this on Mac Rumors. Something in 14.4 is causing an issue with USB hubs. https://www.macrumors.com/2024/03/13/macos-sonoma-14-4-usb-hub-issues-reported/ There is a suggestion in the article to change a security setting While Apple works on a fix, a handful of users have had some...

    MSI PRO Z690 A DDR4 + i7-12700K + AMD RX 580

I tried all the BIOS settings. Nothing worked. PCIe riser cable is an option, but not worth the hassle. I'll probably just resell it on eBay and get a card that works in slot 1 (my RX590 works fine, but was hoping to complete my all white build with the PowerColor 6650 XT white card).

    MSI PRO Z690 A DDR4 + i7-12700K + AMD RX 580

I have a Powercolor 6650XT w/ Z690 MSI Force motherboard. As soon as the windows drivers load, the screen goes black and windows reports a problem with the video card. I found multiple posts on another forum regarding this same issue. Seems to be an incompatibility between the Powercolor...

    Monterey to Sonoma update

I upgraded from Monterey 12.6.5 to Sonoma 14.2. No issues. Just make sure your open core is up to date before doing the install.

Need help with RX 6650XT Spoofing

I couldn't find a bios setting that resolves the problem...bummer...

Need help with RX 6650XT Spoofing

Yes, that didn't work either. The card doesn't work in windows either in slot 1, so it's not an issue with spoofing.

Need help with RX 6650XT Spoofing

There may be a bios setting change that will fix it. I'm going to put the card back in this weekend and try a few more things. A cable is definitely a potential solution.

Need help with RX 6650XT Spoofing

So my issue was there is a incompatibility between MSI Z690 motherboards and the Powercolor 6650XT. I had setup everything properly. If I move the card down to the second slot on my motherboard, it works fine, but unfortunately that isn't a solution as then it is too close to my thunderbolt...

Need help with RX 6650XT Spoofing

Just to make sure I understand, are you saying to load both of these files at the same time, or to use either the SSDT-GPU-SPOOF.aml by itself or the SSDT-Bridge.aml file + device-id in the config.plist?
