Well, I didn't think it would be that simple. Changing the SMBIOS to 15,2 seems to fix both VGA & HDMI output. No way to test the HDMI-Audio, as the monitor can only connect to HDMI via a HDMI-DVI adapter, but regardless, thanks a lot.

Did you look in system preferences to check if you've selected the correct sound output?
